Privacy Policy for Pulse

Pulse (“the app”) is a habit tracker published by RoloMob. This policy explains what data the app handles and how your privacy is protected. In short: Pulse collects no personal data, transmits nothing off your device, and has no accounts, analytics, or ads.
The short version
- We do not collect any personal information.
- We do not transmit any of your data off your device.
- We have no servers, no accounts, and no sign-in.
- We use no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
- Everything you create in Pulse stays on your device.
What data Pulse stores
Pulse stores the data you create — your habits (name, emoji, accent color, creation date), your daily completion records, and your reminder preference (whether it is on, and the time you chose). This information is saved locally on your device using Android’s standard on-device storage and is used solely to make the app work.
We, the developers, never receive, transmit, or have access to this data — it is not sent to us, to any server, or to any third party, and it is never sold. Pulse’s data stays on your device: it is not uploaded or backed up to the cloud. The app disables Android’s system backup, so Pulse’s data is never copied off the device or tied to any cloud account.
Data we do NOT collect
We do not collect or process names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising IDs, usage analytics, crash logs, or any other personal or behavioral data.
Permissions
Pulse requests a single optional permission:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, Android 13 and above): used only to display the optional daily reminder you can enable in Settings. The reminder is generated entirely on your device. If you do not grant this permission, the rest of the app works normally; you simply will not receive the reminder. No notification content is ever sent anywhere.
Pulse does not request internet, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions.
Network access
Pulse is a fully offline app. It makes no network connections and includes no networking or advertising libraries.
Children’s privacy
Because Pulse collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no personal data from children. The app is suitable for general audiences.
Your control over your data
Because all data is stored only on your device, you are in full control. You can delete any habit within the app, and clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app permanently removes all of its stored information from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be distributed with a new release of the app, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Because the app remains offline and data-free, any change will only ever clarify these practices.
