Privacy Policy for Recall

Recall (“the app”) is a flashcard and spaced-repetition study app published by RoloMob. We built Recall to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version: Recall does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
Information we collect
None. Recall does not collect any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
Data you create in the app
The decks and flashcards you create — including their front and back text and their review schedule (ease, interval, repetition count, and due date) — are stored locally on your device only, using your device’s standard app storage. This data:
- never leaves your device,
- is not uploaded to any server,
- is not accessible to us or to any third party,
- and is removed when you delete the app (or when you delete the items inside the app).
Network and internet access
Recall works fully offline. The app does not require or request internet access and does not send any data over the network.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Recall contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, crash-reporting SDKs, or any third-party tracking technologies. We do not build profiles about you and do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.
Permissions
Recall requests no special device permissions. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files outside its own private app storage.
Children’s privacy
Recall is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not gather information from children.
Data security
Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device’s own security (such as your screen lock and device encryption). We recommend keeping your device’s operating system up to date and using a secure screen lock.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above. Any future version of the app that introduces data collection would be accompanied by an updated policy and, where required, your consent.
