Privacy Policy for Tally
Last updated: 24 June 2026
Tally (“the app”) is an offline expense tracker published by RoloMob (“we”, “us”). This policy explains, plainly and honestly, how the app handles your information. The short version: Tally does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not collect any personal information from you. Tally has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
2. Information you enter
The expense data you create in Tally — amounts, categories, notes, dates, your optional monthly budget, and your chosen currency — is stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
- Is not accessible to us; we cannot see it.
- Is not backed up to any server we control.
The app disables Android’s automatic cloud backup, so your data stays on the device and is not backed up to your Google account or any other cloud service.
3. No internet access
Tally functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to work. The app does not request the internet permission and makes no network requests.
4. No analytics, advertising, or tracking
Tally contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party services. We do not profile you and we do not use cookies or advertising identifiers.
5. Permissions
Tally requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files outside its own private sandbox.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in complete control of it. You can delete any individual expense within the app. To remove all data, simply clear the app’s storage in your device’s Settings, or uninstall the app — this permanently deletes all locally stored information.
7. Children’s privacy
Tally does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages and does not knowingly process any personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above. Any future version of the app that changes this behavior will be accompanied by an updated policy.
